Linda Higley:

Linda has been an art educator for 34 years. Art has a very meditative quality, the process of creating and coming to a finished product can be very cathartic.

Art has the qualities to allow one to focus, express themselves visually and come to a place of calm.  Children and adults can benefit from the simple art of coloring, to creating huge murals.  Art can be about letting go and staying present.

Linda believes that  Yoga is a practice of acceptance, reflection, and gives the skills to reconnect with the self on and off the mat.

As an Artist,  Art Educator and yoga instructor,  I am able to intertwine the practice of yoga and art.   My mission as an instructor is to encourage others to reach their personal potential, deepen their connection to themselves, and learn ways to bring their focus inward.   Our purpose is sometimes lost in our day to day activities, and the simple act of coming to our mat and giving ourselves time for self care can help us stay grounded.
